This work of art blew my expectations away. Not only is the quality second to none, and not only is the craftsmanship second to none, but the ENTIRE PROCESS was an experience in the highest level of communication and care. It was a treat receiving emails, updates, pictures, and videos from Matt as we saw the piece transform from unfinished wood to a cut, dried, crafted, sanded, polished piece of art and furniture.

We now live in a big city and miss the nature we used to enjoy in the mountains of Georgia, the Carolinas, and the forest preserves of rural Illinois where we used to live. This beautiful piece of art brings a piece of nature to our home in the most beautiful way. We see it as a delight, pleasure,
and honor to have worked with Matt. We know anyone else will feel the same.

Excellent Experience with Ingrained Elegance!

I will say that Matt at Ingrained Elegance was not only excellent to work with, he is truly a one-of-kind artist. I was renovating a small powder room and Matt made a unique sink pedestal for me. Matt consulted with me so many steps along the way I feel like I designed it myself without any of the heavy lifting. Matt sent frequent pictures of the project as he made the tree trunk into a functional piece ready for my powder room. I sent him a sink and hardware which he retrofitted to ensure the final product would go together optimally. Everything was shipped to me me and expertly packaged. I look forward to the next project I come with to work with Matt on.

When I moved into my home I knew I wanted a natural tree style dining table with a glass top. At first I thought I wanted teak, but after searching and finding Matt and Ingrained Elegance, I didn't have to look any further. He had such a variety of stumps, I was attracted to the red oak. I chose one in the raw form. Matt got to work and after about 8 weeks my red oak, which was beautiful to begin with was Transformed. He truly is an artisan. His dedicated craftsmanship is so unique, detailed and beautiful. I am thrilled to have my new dining table. Even the amazing hand crafted box he built to ship from North Carolina to California was a work of art. Thank you Matt for your talent, expertise and constant communication. I absolutely love it. I highly recommend Ingrained Elegance!
